ABOUT THIS ROLE

A leading packaging supplier to the Personal Care and Cosmetics industry – servicing major brands – is looking for a proactive and reliable Internal Sales Assistant to join their internal sales team.

In this fast-paced and system-driven role, you’ll be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, coordinating with planning, stores, and production, and ensuring customers receive professional communication and seamless service.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

πŸ”Ή Receive and process customer purchase orders accurately
πŸ”Ή Liaise with the planner on delivery dates and send confirmations through Syspro
πŸ”Ή Maintain, update, and adjust customer orders as required
πŸ”Ή Communicate with Stores to coordinate required deliveries and update order reports
πŸ”Ή Process dispatch notes and invoices for completed deliveries
πŸ”Ή Provide customers with backorder reports and updates
πŸ”Ή Process customer return requests (rejects, credits, pallets, boxes)
πŸ”Ή Prepare and update customer price lists timeously
πŸ”Ή Assist with new product development – artwork coordination and colour matching
πŸ”Ή Manage label procurement and supplier delivery follow-ups
πŸ”Ή Maintain electronic filing and support a fully paperless system
πŸ”Ή Participate in stock takes and assist with preparation
πŸ”Ή Use Syspro ERP and Rapid Global systems for processing and compliance
πŸ”Ή Perform general administrative duties as required


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

βœ… Diploma in Administration, Business Management, Systems Administration, or similar
βœ… Experience in an administrative or internal sales role requiring strong accuracy
βœ… Strong customer liaison skills and a professional communication style
βœ… Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with pricing, orders, and documentation
βœ… Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
βœ… Syspro experience is an advantage
βœ… Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
βœ… Team player who can coordinate well across departments
βœ… Neat, professional, and able to follow systems and procedures consistently
βœ… Own reliable transport (Dube TradePort location)
