ABOUT THIS ROLE
Are you an experienced Agency Conveyancer who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven legal environment?
A well-established law firm is seeking a confident, detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal with 5-10 years of experience and strong real estate knowledge. This role requires someone who can manage files independently, communicate professionally with agents and stakeholders, and ensure accurate processing of fees, lodgements, and registrations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
πΉ Manage tagging of fees, lodgements, held-overs, and registrations on Compu-Focus
πΉ Draft correspondence and prepare files for lodgement and registration
πΉ Advise agents via email on fees, lodgements, and registration updates
πΉ Prepare fee and registration reports
πΉ Open new matters on CMS and capture details on Compu-Focus
πΉ Draft, arrange signatures for, lodge, and register cancellations on behalf of agents
πΉ Liaise with attorneys and collaborate on linked matters
πΉ Notify agents of acknowledgements, fees, held-overs, and registrations
πΉ Request FICA documents and ensure compliance
πΉ Monitor payments and follow up on outstanding costs
πΉ Handle billing, transfers, write-offs, and refunds with the Accounts Department
πΉ Draft letters to the Deeds Office regarding refunds or fee discrepancies
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

5β10 yearsβ conveyancing experience (agency experience essential)

Strong knowledge of real estate processes
β
Excellent drafting and communication skills
β
Ability to manage files independently with accuracy
β
Outstanding organisational and administrative skills
β
Knowledge of FICA, numeracy, and basic accounting processes
β
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
