ABOUT THIS ROLE
Are you a detail-oriented, organised Junior Bookkeeper with strong administrative and financial processing skills?
A growing business is looking for a capable Junior Bookkeeper to join their team on a 3-6 month temporary contract. This role involves a combination of bookkeeping, payroll assistance, accounts support, and general office administration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
πΉ Handle billing on Magnetic, including invoicing, credit notes and POs
πΉ Submit invoices on client platforms with accurate supporting documentation
πΉ Process claims, supplier invoices and payments
πΉ Load payments and payroll onto FNB
πΉ Perform bank reconciliations
πΉ Allocate transactions on Xero
πΉ Maintain petty cash, financial trackers and fixed asset registers
πΉ Prepare monthly payroll and assist with IRP5/EMP501 submissions
πΉ Assist with CV capturing and induction schedules during recruitment
πΉ Manage general office admin (stationery, printer, Vodacom/MTN, etc.)
πΉ Book travel and maintain travel trackers
πΉ Order and purchase office supplies, including Netflorist orders
πΉ Support IT/computer equipment ordering needs
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 2+ yearsβ experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
β
Experience in invoicing, accounts payable, payroll support and general admin
β
Relevant accounting qualification or currently studying
β
Knowledge of Xero and Magnetic (or willing to learn)
β
Strong computer literacy
β
High accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
β
Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
