A well-established company in the building materials and construction industry is looking for a Centre Manager to oversee their Mobeni Centre. In this role, you’ll take full responsibility for driving profitability, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
This position is ideal for someone with strong sales and leadership experience who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and enjoys leading teams toward continuous improvement and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
🔹 Manage and develop all operational and sales activities at the Centre
🔹 Drive revenue growth and profitability in line with business objectives
🔹 Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction exceeds expectations
🔹 Visit existing customers and sites while identifying new business opportunities
🔹 Oversee administrative, financial, and stock control processes
🔹 Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented and upheld|
🔹 Manage, motivate, and train staff to achieve performance goals
🔹 Handle staff matters, including discipline, performance, and development
🔹 Maintain a high standard of store presentation and professionalism
🔹 Provide regular feedback and reporting to the Commercial Director
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
✅ Matric and a related tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Building
✅ 3–5 years of proven experience in sales and people management
✅ Strong administrative and financial acumen (including stock control)
✅ Computer literate (MS Office; JDE experience advantageous)
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
✅ Background in the building or construction industry advantageous
✅ Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle essential
✅Bilingual with strong customer service orientation
