ABOUT THIS ROLE

Our client a well-established manufacturing company is launching a first-of-its-kind product in South Africa, and they are looking for a Sales / General Manager to lead this exciting new division. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new product line within a trusted business- and shape its success from day one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
πΉ Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the new product line
πΉ Drive B2B sales growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
πΉ Manage daily operations of the division including coordination with production, logistics, and aftersales teams
πΉ Oversee pricing, profitability, budgets, and debtor controls
πΉ Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders (e.g., project managers, architects, developers)
πΉ Ensure high levels of customer service, product reliability, and delivery performance
πΉ Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team
πΉ Represent the brand at trade events and in the market as the professional face of the division
πΉ Provide monthly reports and performance updates to company leadership
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience in doors, windows, gates, or related security products

Strong background in corporate and wholesaler sales
β
Experience working on low-cost housing or construction projects is a major plus
β
Demonstrated ability to launch and grow new brands, divisions, or product lines
β
Solid financial acumenβcomfortable managing budgets and margins
β
Exceptional leadership and people management skills

Strong decision-making and strategic thinking ability

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
