A well-established company within the import and distribution sector is seeking a reliable Inbound Controller / Admin Clerk to support their import and logistics operations.
This is a junior, highly administrative role focused on documentation, tracking, capturing, and coordinating inbound container movements. The role would suit someone organised, accurate, and comfortable managing multiple tasks within a professional team environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
πΉ Receive, review, and manage documentation related to import containers
πΉ Generate clearing instructions
πΉ Track vessel schedules and container movements
πΉ Maintain accurate tracking reports and records
πΉ Assist with weekly cold store planning
πΉ Costing schedules and checking transporter invoices
πΉ Capture order and stock information
πΉ Provide general administrative support to logistics and operations
πΉ Assist other departments on an ad hoc basis
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Matric (minimum requirement)

3β5 yearsβ experience in an administrative role
β
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
β
Computer literate and comfortable with data capturing
β
Shipping / logistics experience advantageous but not essential
β
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
β
Professional, mature and adaptable
