ABOUT THIS ROLE

A well-established company within the import and distribution sector is seeking a reliable Inbound Controller / Admin Clerk to support their import and logistics operations.

This is a junior, highly administrative role focused on documentation, tracking, capturing, and coordinating inbound container movements. The role would suit someone organised, accurate, and comfortable managing multiple tasks within a professional team environment.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

πŸ”Ή Receive, review, and manage documentation related to import containers
πŸ”Ή Generate clearing instructions
πŸ”Ή Track vessel schedules and container movements
πŸ”Ή Maintain accurate tracking reports and records
πŸ”Ή Assist with weekly cold store planning
πŸ”Ή Costing schedules and checking transporter invoices
πŸ”Ή Capture order and stock information
πŸ”Ή Provide general administrative support to logistics and operations
πŸ”Ή Assist other departments on an ad hoc basis


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

βœ… Matric (minimum requirement)
βœ… 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative role
βœ… Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
βœ… Computer literate and comfortable with data capturing
βœ… Shipping / logistics experience advantageous but not essential
βœ… Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
βœ… Professional, mature and adaptable
