ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and driving growth in the building or construction industry?

An exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Representative to join a fast-paced team based in Edenvale. In this full-time role, youโ€™ll be responsible for increasing product visibility, expanding market share, and developing strong partnerships with both new and existing clients.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, target-focused, and comfortable working independently in a client-facing environment. If you have a proven sales record and solid knowledge of the construction or building materials space, this could be your next big move.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

๐Ÿ”น Maximise sales opportunities through consistent customer engagement and territory planning
๐Ÿ”น Grow market share by identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into sales
๐Ÿ”น Maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders
๐Ÿ”น Support internal teams with market intelligence and customer feedback
๐Ÿ”น Ensure brand visibility through planned site visits and sales initiatives
๐Ÿ”น Keep accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and follow-ups
๐Ÿ”น Report on territory performance, competitor activity, and sales forecasts
๐Ÿ”น Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and delivery timelines


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

โœ… Minimum 3 yearsโ€™ proven sales experience, ideally in the building, construction, or related industry
โœ… Matric (Grade 12) essential
โœ… Tertiary qualification in Sales or a building-related field (advantageous)
โœ… Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (ECAS eligibility applies)
โœ… Proficient in English, Afrikaans, and one other official language
โœ… Comfortable using CRM or digital sales systems
โœ… Strong communication and interpersonal skills
โœ… Confident in both B2B and contractor sales environments
โœ… Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
